Navy Surplus Coffee Boiler

I use a Navy surplus coffee boiler to heat water for sanitation in camp. At the Winter Camp Cookoff, I filled my large charcoal chimney with charcoal briquettes and lit them under the boiler. Within 30 to 45 minutes, I had boiling water to clean dishes.

Search if you're interested in locating a surplus coffee boiler. I've seen many in good condition. Expect to pay $35 to $50 for one in good condition.

Vollrath manufactured this Navy surplus coffee boiler. It holds 9 quarts of water or coffee. I use it to boil water for sanitation at cookoffs and at camp. Posted by Hello

A rather poor photo of the coffee boiler hanging from my tripod. Posted by Hello
